The short version

The appliance calculator runs entirely in your browser. We never see the appliance, wattage, hours or electricity rate you enter, and we don't ask for your name, email or any personal information to use the tool.

Information we collect

Like most websites, we collect standard, aggregated usage data to understand how the site is used and to improve it:

• Pages visited and rough location (country/state level, not your address)
• Device type, browser and screen size
• Aggregated calculator usage events (e.g. that a calculation happened), not your inputs

This is collected through Google Analytics 4 and similar tools, which use cookies. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, or use a browser with tracking protection, without affecting the calculator.

Advertising

This site displays ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
